Lasa fever

Lassa fever : Its preventive measure Lassa fever is a zoonetic infection caused by lassa virus haboured in multimate mice,in Africa,this kind mice are being use as either food,or been neglected around home,due to it shyness from home,but posses a great effect on lives and property,this rodent can be prevented from home,taking cognisance of the following methods  1.Avoid accumulation of misscellenous articles around home Most dwellers in Africa cultivate the habit of keeping unused,abdandon articles such,disused tyres,abandoned kitchen utensils, unused clothes,woods etc,around homes,along the passages, at the backyard,thereby harbouring these rodent and multiplication of this mammals will surely take place  2.Avoid open dumping of refuse To ensure the security of lifes and properties,open dumping of refuse causes and aggravate the breeding of this lasser fever causing,because this rodent derived their food use for their survival there, let break the chain if their survival  3.Use of protective equipment and Regular hand washing  Avoid using bare hand to pick up dead rats and after to handling of any pest,washing of hand should be the next step,most homes neglect the act after handling this common rat bait,which is likely to enhance the possibility of contact with the virus  4.Avoid direct contact with sick person : this fever share similar characteristics with Ebola virus  5.Avoidance of overcrowding a room liable to aggravate the spread of the infection  6. Regular Sanitation of home Lets cultivate the habit of sanitising our home such as clearing of bushes,sweeping,fumigation etc.    7. Report cases to appropriate authority.
